5MP Super HD & 30X Optical Zoom

Optical or Digital Zoom?
It is worth mentioning that most PTZ security cameras support optical zoom for viewing and capturing distant objects, such as license plates or faces. Some beginners might be confused about the difference between digital and optical zoom.
Both can enlarge the faraway image, but digital zoom is processed by the DSP chip to output image, which means it just enlarges the pixels of the image, resulting in blurry images and videos.
Optical zoom adjusts the focal length of the lens to make clearer images of things in the distance. One of the biggest strengths of high-optical zoom security camera is that the picture will remain clear as you zoom, giving you effective surveillance even at a long distance.
This means you can view smaller image details, such as faces and license plates, from further away and still get a clear quality shot.
Ctronics have different optical zoom security cameras, including 5X, 10X, 16X, and 30X zoom. The larger the number, the further the zoom. 30X optical zoom cameras, such as the 550C & 620C camera, can capture clearer and brighter pictures of things further away than the others.
150m IR Night Vision and 50m Color Night Vision
The Ctronics Outdoor Surveillance Camera has 2 Laser IR LEDs, 4 IR LEDs, and 4 White LEDs to provide high-quality 5MP HD video and pictures at night. This outdoor WiFi security camera supports 3 night vision modes: monochrome, color, and auto. You can switch these according to your needs by using the APP. It has a light source detection device, and when the light is dimmed, the outdoor PTZ camera will automatically switch to night vision mode. Thanks to laser and infrared LEDs, the night vision distance extends up to 150 meters (492 feet) in monochrome mode. White LEDs provide full-color night vision up to 50 meters (164 feet) when the color mode is activated.
Human Detection, Automatic Tracking & Audible Alarm

For example, you can set 30X zoom for far ones, and 5X or 10X zoom for near ones. This 5MP IP camera will strictly implement your settings and switch between different zooms at different preset points. Of course, the cruise record will also maintain the corresponding zoom.
Highlight 620C – Continuous Cruise
When this security camera detects a person via the cruise function, it will automatically track the target person until they disappear fom the monitoring range. After that, camera will continue to cruise, keeping your home safe every minute. ( It is a highlight of this zoom camera, many security cameras do not have continuous cruise function，they stop cruising when a track is complete ).
